Chennakesava Temple102:

The Chennakesava Temple was built in Belur, by the Hoysala King Vishnuvardhana. It was originally called Vijayanarayana Temple. Built a temple for Vijaynarayana in 1117 A.D. in commemoration of his victory against the Chola viceroy of Talkad. This image shows the southern door (rear view of temple) of Chennakeshava temple.
