Silent Valley The Need For Wildlife Conservation:

The Silent Valley forests, also know as Syrendhrivanam, are on a plateau perched at the south-western corner of the Nilgiris in the Western Ghats region of Peninsular India. There are almost no virgin forests left in India. There is an urgent need to protect and preserve the rich flora and fauna, so that we can save the ecological balance.
