The mukucha (facial) expression is the most essential gesture along with other gestures in fulfilling the communication process in dance movements. According to the Shastras, we have three major movements: Shirobedha (head movement), Drishtihbedha (eye movement) and Greevabedha (neck movement). This video focuses on Shirobedha, the head movement. Head tilts form an essential movement as it enhances the facial gestures.
