Manipuri 03:

This image is showing a Manipuri dancer performing gestures and posture. The basic movements of Chali together forms the various types of Parengs. Pareng is a kind of rhythmic construction of movements based on Tala and Laya. The Pareng is also known as garland of composition of the dnace. There are five such Parengs, two in Tandava and three in Lasya. Here, in the image, it seems that the dancer is performing a gopi in the pose of Krishna playing flute.
